Key points of operation of single-use endoscopic cutting stapler
Disposable endoscopic cutting stapler is suitable for tissue transsection, excision and anastomosis in thoracic surgery, abdominal surgery and gynecological surgery.
Use steps and operation points
1. Install staple reload
Remove the instrument and staple reload separately from the box. Assemble the staple reload to the device (insert the rear of the staple reload into the root of the reload at an Angle to the reload splint, then press the head of the reload down so that the positioning convex of the head of the reload is inserted into the positioning groove of the reload splint), and remove the protective cover from the reload .
2, 1, install the reload
Remove the instrument and reload separately from the box. Assemble the staple reload to the device (insert the rear of the staple reload into the root of the staple reload at an Angle to the staple reload splint, then press the head of the staple reload down so that the positioning convex of the head of the reload is inserted into the positioning groove of the staple reload splint), and remove the protective cover from the staple reload .
3, ready to cut & fit
Place the tissue to be anastomosed in the mouth of the clamp, making sure that the tissue is all inside the mouth of the clamp (be careful not to pack the tissue too close in, or there may be a risk of missing the nail)
The following three points should be noted! Improper operation may greatly affect the nailing effect:
1, ensure that the tissue is smooth and correctly placed between the jaws. If there is "bunched" tissue along the nail bin, especially at the fork of the instrument clamp mouth, it will cause the stitching line to be incomplete.
2. The end indicator line on the reload base and the staple reload positioning slot indicates the termination of the stitching line, and the indicator line marked "cut" on the staple reload positioning slot indicates the cutting line on the instrument (the end indicator line and the "cut" cutting indicator line are shown in the figure below).
3. Make sure the tissue does not exceed the proximal indicator line on the instrument. Tissue extruded into the instrument from the outside of the indicator line may be crosscut without stitching.
4. Press and fire
Press down the moving handle, close the jaws, keep the jaws closed for 15s, wait for the tissue to be fully squeezed, then press down the striking handle, each time to strike thoroughly (need to hit 4 times, the first three times to complete the cutting and closing operation, the last time to withdraw the knife operation).
5. The following five points should be noted:
1. When clamping the tissue, ensure that there is no clamp, waste, guide wire and other obstructions in the instrument clamp mouth. Striking at the blockage may result in incomplete cutting, improper stitching, or failure to open the jaws.
2, the stapler needs 3 full strokes to produce a full 45mm (45 specification) or 60mm (60 specification) stitching line.
3. The entire firing process must be completed after firing, and the equipment must not be completely fired.
4, toggle the switch button can interrupt the firing process, the blade is returned, and the stitching line does not reach the entire 45mm or 60mm.
5, once the cutter is manually or automatically returned to its initial position, it indicates that the staple reload has been used up and cannot be continued. If you try to use an already used staple reload, the instrument will be locked. If the instrument is locked, at this time, you need to pull down the tool release button, press the firing handle again, and return the cutting knife to open the pliers and replace the nail bin of the correct length.
